My brand new bottle of vodka is FROZEN?

I just bought a liter of smirnoff recipe no. 21 triple distilled vodka (80 proof) and I put it in my freezer unopened overnight to chill and this morning I wake up to find it frozen solid. I thought vodka wasn't supposed to freeze at temperatures a normal freezer can get to, but it is a new freezer, new to me at least. There's literally a block of frozen vodka in the middle like it was a frozen water bottle! The bottle is still sealed and everything, so what's going on? Is it still safe to drink if I let it thaw or do I need to buy a new bottle?
