How do vagabonds and "bikers for life", hippies etc. Get money for fuel and food?

If you are talking about the older generation bikers..I'm pretty sure they work and saved up their money and lots of them have wives who work too..you only see these bikers coming around during some holidays..collecting money for a cause..they also go to funeral homes and cemeteries to keep the so-call devil worshipers out.. as a former hippie myself I did work for 30 years..Now if you are talking about the homeless people that's whole different story...=)
