What are ways to find local group that is to your interest?

I've looked into meetup.com, but they don't have groups that cover all topics of your interest, and it can be difficult to find one with meeting time that fits your schedule, and location of your convenience, and the likewise for craigslist. What other ways are available for people who are looking to broaden their social circle in the areas of their interest? My interest lies in finance, entrepreneurship and investments.
